This filter pump is the largest cartridge filter pump from Intex. It filters approximately 9463 liters of pool water per hour, making it suitable for larger Easy Set and Frame pools.

Clean and Clear Pool Water

The Intex cartridge pool pump ensures clean pool water in two ways: through water circulation and filtration. The pump draws water from the pool and then pumps it back into the pool, keeping the pool water in constant motion. Bacteria, fungi, and algae develop much more slowly in this environment, as they thrive in stagnant water. As the water flows through the pool pump, all the dirt is filtered out of the water. The dirt is trapped in the filter cartridge, and the clean water is pumped back into the pool.

For Which Pools?

Whether this cartridge filter pump is suitable for your pool depends on the amount of water it can hold, which is determined by the pool's size. For a pool pump to function properly, it must be able to filter the entire pool within 4 hours; only then will you have water circulation strong enough to keep the pool water clean and clear. This model of Intex cartridge filter pump has a pump capacity of 9,463 liters per hour. In essence, this pump is powerful enough for pools with a maximum capacity of 38,000 liters (9463 x 4).

Connecting to the Pool

With the included parts and hoses, you can easily install the cartridge filter pump between the inlet and outlet of the pool. Make sure the connection of the filter pump matches the diameter of your pool's connection. All Intex pools have either a 32 mm or a 38 mm connection. This cartridge filter pump has a connection of Ø 38 mm. If your pool has a 32 mm connection, you'll need two Intex connectors and a inlet and outlet set 32 mm to make everything fit.

This converts the 230V current from the outlet into a much lower, and safer, voltage. The cartridge filter pump is also equipped with a very long power cord, measuring 565 cm.
